South African Builder is the official journal for the Master Builders SA (MBSA). Published since 1923, it offers the latest news in the building and construction industry as well as topical discussion on industry projects, products, and personalities.

The magazine is distributed to all the members of the Master Builders Associations (MBA) in SA, as well as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), which include architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, small, medium and large contractors, sub contractors and builders' merchants.

An independent survey conducted recently revealed that South African Builder is the most widely read magazine in the industry with a readership of more than 30,000.
